CHI to Provide Integrative Medicine Services at Farmington Valley YMCA

Avon, Connecticut, June 16, 2003 - CHI and Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center today announced the establishment of an affiliation in which CHI will become a provider of complementary health services at the Farmington Valley YMCA in Granby. Services will include massage therapy, hypnotherapy and stress reduction, pain reduction, and weight reduction therapies.

In addition to providing integrative health care services, CHI will work closely with Saint Francis to inform and educate the public concerning complementary medicine and its value as part of a continuous plan for health care.

"Working in collaboration with Saint Francis we can provide a comprehensive integrative healthcare plan that offers a great opportunity to promote wellness and prevention in the Farmington Valley."

To spotlight its services, CHI is holding a free Health Fair on July 14 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Farmington Valley YMCA in Granby.
