Saint Francis selects CHI as primary provider of complementary healthcare services at the Saint Francis Care Center for Health Enhancement in Avon

Avon, Connecticut, April 3, 2002 – CHI and Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center today announced the establishment of an affiliation in which CHI will become the primary provider of complementary health services at the Saint Francis Care Center for Health Enhancement in Avon.

"We are excited about this affiliation with Saint Francis," said Doreen Fishman, co-founder of CHI. "For the first time in this area, we can together offer truly integrated, holistic medicine in a way that provides the greatest opportunity for patients to achieve and maintain health and well being in body, mind, and spirit. Saint Francis is a leader in its commitment to complementary medicine as an integral component of health care."

In addition to providing integrative health care services, CHI will work closely with Saint Francis to inform and educate the public concerning complementary medicine and its value as part of a continuous plan for health care.
